As the Kansas Parent Training and Information Center we educate, encourage and inform families that have children with disabilities to be effective advocates. We do this by providing training’s throughout the state, we encourage families by sharing our own stories, as many of our staff have children or a loved one with special needs and we provide information and offer referrals to resources and services throughout the state.

Family-to-Family Health Information Center provides individual information on how to advocate for children who have special health care needs. We also provide information and resources to families regarding medical home, health insurance availability and more.

The Parent-to-Parent program matches parents, who have experience parenting a child with a disability and/or special health care need with with another parent who may have a newly diagnosed child, needs support during the transition process, medical issues, and more.
