Evaluations & Eligibility – Virtual

We will discuss how and what records to request when you are assigned a student, how to request an evaluation, the timeline the school must follow once that request is made, the evaluation process, and what to expect at the eligibility meeting. We will review a sample Prior Written Notice to sign consent for evaluations, evaluation reports, and Prior Written Notice to determine eligibility. Education advocates are required to attend at least one refresher training per calendar year. This one-hour training will satisfy the retraining requirement.
