Learn about your rights in the special education process and become a trained Education Advocate.
About this event
The day will be packed with information about free appropriate public education (FAPE), evaluations, individualized education programs (IEPs), least restrictive environment (LRE), procedural safeguards and discipline protections. We will end the day with some strategies for addressing challenging behaviors.
This training is required for those who wish to serve as an education advocate. Child care vouchers available to caregivers who attend the entire conference.
